The origin of World Intellectual Property Day
World Intellectual Property Day (World IP Day) , established by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) on 26 April 2001, which decided that from 2001, April 26 of each year would be World Intellectual Property Day.
In October 2000, the 35th session of the General Assembly of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) adopted a 1999 proposal jointly by China and Algeria to establish “World Intellectual Property Day ”, it decided to make April 26 as “World Intellectual Property Day ” from 2001.
